Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
The only place in Uganda to see rhinos in the wild — tracked on foot with a ranger.
Rhinos were lost from Uganda's parks by the 1980s; Ziwa is where they are being bred back. Tracking is on foot and usually brings you within safe distance of a mother and calf. Often combined with Murchison Falls on the way north.
