Lake Bunyonyi
A deep, calm lake of 29 islands in terraced hills — the place to rest after a gorilla trek.
Swimming is safe (no bilharzia, no hippo or crocodile), and a dugout canoe to the islands is the way to get around. Cool evenings, crayfish on the menu and terraced hills in every direction.
