Fort Patiko
Samuel Baker's 1870s fort on a granite outcrop, once a slave-trading post, now a quiet memorial.
Trenches and stone buildings survive on the rock north of Gulu. Local guides tell the history plainly — of the trade, of Baker, and of the people held there.
